Bushwick
The non-profit Bushwick Cooperative Federal Credit Union hired us to design their new Myrtle Avenue location. The project succeeded in a simple layout for high traffic and daily use. Learn more »
Foster
This non-profit organization focuses on the essential time spent between a parent and his/her child who is currently in foster care. We started with a pro-bono schematic design featuring movable storage and activity cabinets to create an open, varying space – and to empower the users. This design offers different activity zones for each family to define their experience for themselves. Learn more »
El Madrono
The client is a non-profit organization called GOCARE. They works closely with Nicaraguan communities to create and implement youth and adult educational programs with 3,800 graduates to date. The topography of the site inspired a dynamic campus that will offer varied spatial experiences and social interaction each time you move through its bounded space. Learn more »
Vanilla
We worked with local colleagues in Madagascar to design a community center for the people who work in the fields and in the fair trade processing center near the town of Sambava. Our design for the project refers both visually and substantially to local vernacular construction. The flexible design will encourage the workers themselves to easily define the many possible ways the building can be used to strengthen the community. Learn more »
